Clube Curitibano

Mid-Level Communication and Marketing Analyst

Clube Curitibano is a social and sports club founded in 1881, with five venues, more than 30,000 members and more than 700 employees. From July 2023 to December 2025, I was a communication and marketing analyst and coordinated a team of 10 professionals, reporting to the marketing management.

The period brought together a cycle of construction work across the five venues, the magazine's move to monthly issues and the election with the highest turnout in the Club's history. My job was to translate all of this for members, from accountability reporting to the shows on the social calendar.

  • Coordinated a team of 10 marketing professionals, with a task distribution workflow he developed, serving 20 of the Club's departments.
  • Wrote 91 bylined articles, 6 of them cover stories, across 24 issues of the Club magazine, which went from bimonthly to monthly during the period.
  • Translated the 123 improvements at the five venues for members, in a text that served as the basis for 30 of the 56 pages of the special issue on the administration.

Organizational and corporate communication

Team coordination

With the magazine going monthly, demand on the marketing department grew. Reporting to the marketing management, I coordinated a team of 10 professionals in content, design, social media and internal communication, with a task distribution workflow I developed and implemented.

I supervised the work from the annual editorial plans, the briefs and the requests for design and audiovisual production to the review of pieces before publication, on the website, social media, landing pages and email marketing. The team served 20 departments, with more than 700 employees in total.

Accountability for the construction work

The cycle of construction work went through all five venues, and each intervention arrived described in engineering language. With the Engineering Department, I compiled the inventory of the 123 improvements, venue by venue, and turned the technical content into accountability reporting.

I wrote 9 bylined articles on the construction work, including the one on the Master Plan that will guide the development of the venues, and wrote the Engineering and Maintenance sections of the administration's review. My text served as the basis for 30 of the 56 pages of special issue 323. I followed the renovation of the Salão Rubens Arles Bettega, with new 225 TR air conditioning, from the video scripts to the reopening at the 143rd Anniversary Ball.

The voice of the presidency

I wrote scripts and speeches for the president and the board, such as the speech to the fifty-year members, the remarks on the Ordinary General Meeting and institutional videos. I took part in 10 recordings, interviews and edits with the president, coaching his delivery during filming, including a radio interview and the recording with Curitiba's then mayor-elect, Eduardo Pimentel.

The video on the new furniture at the Social Pool was recorded as written, and the speech to the fifty-year members was read again in 2025 and printed in the magazine.

2025 General Elections

I coordinated the direction of communication for the 2025 election process, with one ground rule, that official communication took no sides. I produced the notice for the July 30 Extraordinary General Meeting, which approved hybrid electronic voting, the election notice and the guidance article in issue 321.

On October 19, we covered the vote count in real time, and afterwards I wrote the article on the new Board taking office in issue 325. The election had 6,304 voters, a Club record, and was the first with hybrid voting, online or in person at four venues. Each piece was aligned with the board, the management, the superintendent's office and the legal department.

Club magazine

I was part of the editorial team for the magazine's 24 issues, from issue 302, in August 2023, to issue 325, in December 2025, a period in which it went from bimonthly to monthly, starting with issue 307. I edited and proofread the monthly issues, which averaged 117.6 pages with a print run of 10,000 copies.

I wrote 91 bylined articles, 6 of them cover stories, in 22 of the 24 issues, and had 140 photo credits, with my photos on covers 309 and 314. In all, 212 of my texts were printed in the magazine, 141 of them with 70% or more of the original text. In the institutional memory articles, I told the stories of Poty Lazzarotto's centenary, Alfredo Andersen, Dario Vellozo's life and the 50th anniversary of the Olympic pool.

Website, email marketing and CRM

I wrote 371 articles and press releases for the website, an average of 3 per week, as well as official statements, announcements and messages for WhatsApp, email and the member service center.

I managed RD Station and the CRM, with segmentation, journey automation, newsletter and survey sends and performance analysis. The email list reached 28,659 contacts, 18% larger than in 2024, and the CRM brought together about 30,000 members. From June to September 2025, there were 40 sends, with an average open rate of 52.83%, above the 47.19% of 2024.

Social media

I coordinated the Club's social media, with content production and coverage. The main Instagram profile grew from 26.9 thousand followers, in October 2023, to more than 40,000 at the end of 2025, an increase of at least 48%. I also wrote 20 video scripts, including the Giro Olímpico series for TikTok, partnership videos and videos on the construction work.

Entertainment, culture and sports

From concept to coverage, I led more than 80 campaigns at the Club, from shows by national artists, parties and cooking classes to book club meetings, recitals, running races, golf tournaments and swimming competitions.

Shows on the social calendar

I directed the communication campaign for the Children's Day Festival with Ana Castela, on October 4, 2025, at Expotrade, in Pinhais, from the announcement, on June 30, to the post-event article. The festival drew 3,021 people, and the announcement made the cover of issue 319.

For the other shows on the social calendar, I directed the campaign for members and was the spokesperson who interviewed the artists, as with Jota Quest and Xande de Pilares. Together, the seven shows with attendance recorded in the Club's reports drew 7,198 people, and Paralamas do Sucesso sold out the tables in two days. In the survey for the Paralamas show, 30.9% of the audience said they had heard about the event on social media.

Press relations for swimmer Leonardo Macedo

I had followed the career of Leonardo Macedo, an open water athlete who came up through the Club's pools, since the end of 2023, and I handled his press relations from October 2024 to February 2025. I wrote the press releases for each result, from the South American Aquatics Championships in Cali, in October 2024, to the Open Water Swimming World Cup in Soma Bay, Egypt, in February 2025, prepared the athlete with media training and directed the photo shoot for the cover of issue 311.

On October 27, 2024, in Hong Kong, Leo won silver in the mixed relay at the Open Water Swimming World Cup, Brazil's first relay medal in the history of the competition. The achievement became a magazine cover and an interview on Papo de Craque, on Rádio Transamérica, and was picked up by outlets such as CazéTV, ge, Olympics.com, UOL Esporte and Gazeta Esportiva.

Races and championships

I created the concept, the name and the positioning of Track & Field Experience Running Clube Curitibano, the race that reinvented the Inter-Venue Race. It took place on August 31, 2025, at the Romão Rodrigues Branco venue, in Quatro Barras, with more than 750 registered runners.

I coordinated the full campaign for the 2025 Society Football Draft, with more than 500 members registered in 32 teams, the Media Day and the first edition of Draft Kids. In all, I communicated more than 90 tournaments in more than 20 sports, wrote 93 texts on aquatic sports and followed skateboarder Luigi Cini's Olympic campaign in Paris 2024.

Culture

I coordinated the full campaign for Christmas at the Concórdia venue, with Santa's Arrival for 677 members and the show Era uma vez um Natal for 1,604 people, and the campaign for the concert O Clube e Seus Pianos, from producing testimonials to coverage, for 257 audience members. I followed the dance teams from the Internal Showcase, with 1,200 people in the audience, to their first qualification for an international competition.

Real-time coverage

I logged 367 coverage assignments, photo sessions, recordings and edits at all the venues, 64.6% of them at night, in the early hours or on weekends. In 2024, they made up 18% of the team's records, the second-highest volume among 13 people.

I coordinated coverage of the 143rd Anniversary Ball, with 632 guests, and of the Paralamas do Sucesso show, with 1,231 people, working from Stories scripts. At the 2024 Festa Junina, which drew 12,165 people, the coverage lasted 12 hours.
