International Business Management | Liverpool

In January 2026, between Clube Curitibano and Copini Group, I took the International Business Management course at Bayswater, in Liverpool, and spent about two months in the United Kingdom. It was an academic and cultural exchange, focused on English, international business and networking.

Executive summary

  • Completed the 4-week, 60-hour course, with the Professional Certificate and a research project on the British snack market.
  • Received the Student of the Month award for January 2026, as the first student to earn the honor.
  • Earned the Global Skills Certificate, for English at C1 level, and two Bayswater badges, one in public speaking and networking and another in networking.
  • Took part in the Liverpool City Toastmasters public speaking workshop and gave a testimonial at the end of the session.
  • Visited the Port of Liverpool and attended business and digital marketing workshops with the class.

The course

Bayswater's International Business Management course runs for 4 weeks and 60 hours and ends with the Bayswater Professional Certificate. The modules covered international trade, trade agreements, barriers to entry, international marketing, consumer behavior, cultural adaptation and strategic positioning. I closed the course with a research project on the British snack market.

Recognition

In January 2026, I received the Student of the Month award and was the first student to earn the honor. The recognition came for the welcoming, connecting environment I created among students from many cultures, as well as for my performance in the course.

I also received the Global Skills Certificate, for English at C1 level, and two Bayswater digital badges, one in public speaking and networking and another in networking.

Activities

I took part in Liverpool City Toastmasters' Engage Yourself to Engage Your Audience session, led by Jose Ucar, a communication and influence specialist and TEDx speaker, and gave a testimonial at the end.

With the class, I attended a business workshop at the Apple Store in Liverpool and a digital marketing workshop led by Matthew France. On the visit to the Port of Liverpool, Richard James, from Stena Line, presented the port's history and the company's work, and then we toured the operations.
